Hello! I am PooKi

An emerging self-taught local artist drawing inspiration in everyday life and my travels. This business name is a combination of my name and surname! I have been drawing since I was a child and always had a burning desire to share my art with the world . The subject matter of my art is mostly figurative illustrations, nature, animals and travel filled with colours and feelings. I paint on canvas but my current obsession is digital paintings which I draw freehand. I exhibit at art and craft markets around Surrey and Hampshire.

Being an Empath myself, I can see and sense emotions of others, and I try to bring this into my art as well. I pour my feelings into my artwork and make them joyful, uplifting and colourful. I always see an instant smile on people’s faces when they look at the paintings. The illustrations are easy to comprehend but it leaves a long lasting impression in people’s heart which is one of the feedbacks I often receive.  

As cliche as it sounds, I like to bring comfort and smile to people's faces when they see and use my art products to beautify their lives and homes.
